Apostle Tommy E. Quick
Founder and Director, CFADD
Apostle Tommy E. Quick – is the Senior Pastor and founder of The Promised Land Church of God in Christ, where he has served for over 29 years. His pastoral ministry spans 46 years. As an apostle he has founded and built churches in both North and South Carolina. He presently serves as the Chief of Staff, the Superintendent of the SC District, and as Chairman of the Ordination Committee in the NC3rd Jurisdiction of Church of God in Christ with Bishop Patrick L. Wooden Sr. Apostle Quick has been married to Valerie for 36 years, they have 5 children, 12 grandchildren and four great grands.
In 2008 he founded Promised Land Community Development Corporation, and in 2012 the Promised Land Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) He established the award-winning Black Boys of Distinction, a mentoring program for at-risk boys, (now TEAM: Tomorrow’s Exemplary & Anointed Men). In 2008 he successfully led the development and construction of Trinity Gates at 46 home subdivision to increase family homeownership.
As of August 1, 2015, assumed the leadership and revitalized Legacy Christian School which serving children 2 months through 3rd grade. Apostle Quick has hosted the Promised Place Telecast seen every Sunday morning. In 2013, he was awarded the Human Rights Award by the Church Women United, Inc. from the United Nations Office. In 2015, he was awarded the South Carolina NAACP Humanitarian of the year award.
Apostle Quick has suffered persecution and prosecution for his unwavering faith, strong preaching and service to mankind. In 2020 he received the vision of Christian Families Against Destructive Decisions (CFADD.com). CFADD’s mission is to influence the building and sustaining of strong families and strong generational heritages by promoting a Biblical worldview and God-first lifestyle. CFADD is growing and will impact the nation for Christ.
